On November 3, 2024, the JMJ Provincialate Chapel in Mangalagiri hosted the solemn installation ceremony of the new Provincial Council. During a concelebrated Holy Eucharist, attended by clergy, sisters, and well-wishers. Rev. Fr. Jaya Raj SJ blessed the event, invoking God's abundant blessings upon the council and the province. Sr. Vijaya Udumala presided over the event and formally installed the new council members:

1. Handle with Care Symbol – Reflecting their commitment to love and care for each sister.
   
2. The Holy Bible – Emphasizing their dedication to Scripture and their mission.
   
3. Lighted Candle – Representing Christ’s light and their role in spreading it.
   
4. Congregation Documents – Highlighting their duty to uphold the JMJ Constitution and preserve its spiritual legacy.

The new council accepted their roles with humility, pledging to work for the spiritual and administrative growth of the province while fostering unity within the Congregation.

A Celebration of Service
The event included heartfelt acknowledgments for the outgoing Provincial Council—Sr. Santha Kumari, Sr. Mercy, and Sr. Kochumary—who were praised for their service and dedication. Felicitations, cultural performances, making the occasion joyous and memorable.

In response, the New Provincial Council expressed their gratitude and commitment to their roles, promising to uphold the values and mission of the Congregation. The outgoing Provincial Council, consisting of Sr. Santha Kumari, Sr. Mercy, and Sr. Kochumary, shared heartfelt thanks for the support and cooperation extended to them during their tenure.

A Future Guided by Faith
The Guntur Province looks forward with hope and confidence to the leadership of Sr. Vijaya Udumala and the new Provincial Council. Simultaneously, prayers and blessings accompany Sr. Tresa Kandlakunta as she steps into her new role as General Councillor, contributing to the global mission of JMJ.

The address by Sr. Vijaya Udumala, the Provincial Superior, inspired and encouraged all, offering guidance to the new council and reflecting on the responsibilities ahead. The event also included felicitations and congratulations to the newly installed council, celebrating their commitment to serving the community.
