History of JMJ in Rome

The Time in the Plan of God

It was during the General Chapter of 1981 the Indian Province was asked to send a few sisters to replace the aging Dutch sisters in the Dutch college later known as “Collegio Olandese”, Rome. This mission in Rome began in 1931 with a few Dutch Sisters working in the Dutch college to help the priests who are studying there. The Charism of our founder, the need for availability, adaptability the signs of the times moved the Sisters to accept mission in Rome.
