The celebration of Triple Jubilee of the Guntur Province was held in JMJ Convent, Tenali on 14th July 2012.
Sr. Anacleta, the General Councillor, the Provincial Superiors and sisters from four Provinces of India, were present for this unique festivity.
The Holy Eucharist was presided over by Most. Rev. Prakash Mallavarapu, the Bishop of Vijayawada followed by the homily in which he communicated, “The hard work of success of 190 years is celebrated today. To be still spoken and to celebrate likewise we need to work still more in the days to come”.
At 2.30 pm, the JMJ family of Guntur Province gathered in the auditorium to experience of being together as a family. Starting from senior sisters to novices were honored one another for the relentless service towards the growth of the Society and then recalled the deceased sisters, who toiled for the Society to journey through the decades to reach this triple jubilee event.
We the sisters and well-wishers of JMJ gathered once again at 5.30 pm for the cultural programme, the dignitaries on the dais extended their greetings and appreciation to the floor. The cultural programme continued with a slogan “JMJ Rainbow Celestial”, explored by educational institutions, depicted in different cultural dances with the theme of various apostolic works drawn out from the life of our venerable founder Rev. Fr. Mathias Wolff, SJ.
Thus the triple jubilee celebration has been blessed by and has left us with a desire to move on with renewed zeal.
