8th October 2021 was a great day at Snehalaya, JMJ Provincialate. The day has dawned with scintillating joy and enthusing energy for all the Diamond, Golden and Silver Jubilarians of our JMJ Guntur Province. It was a graceful time to be grateful to God for His humongous blessings and constant accompaniment. All the Jubilarians entered the God’s dwelling place with meaningful symbolic offerings, namely Silver Jubilarians with Hearts, Golden Jubilarians with Poornakumbam, and the Diamond Jubilarian with memento of diamond shaped glass stone in our hands. We marched in a grand procession along with the chief celebrant and the concelebrants. Sr. Mercy the councillor welcomed everyone to the Solemn Holy Eucharist with her prayerful and heart-warming introduction in which she highlighted the significance of symbolic offerings and its meaning in our lives thus added sanctity and serenity to the spiritual convergence of the sisters in the temple of God.

We were very glad to have Rev. Fr. Sandanasamy, SJ as the chief celebrant to grace the occasion. He has given a very inspiring and thought provoking homily; it was truly invigorating and stirred our hearts and minds to deepen our commitment to the Lord. Meaningful intercessory prayers were offered for various needs of the congregation and the province. During the doxology Aarathi was given to the Eucharistic Lord by all the Silver jubilarians along with their novice mistress Sr. Sophia the Diamond Jubilarian, which added devotion to the Liturgy.

After the devote and meaningful Eucharistic celebrations there was a short felicitation for all the jubilarians by our Provincial Superior Rev. Sr. Tresa and council followed by all the far and near community sisters in the province. At the end we had a cake cutting ceremony and a greeting song to the celebrities of the day. The aspirants and the junior sisters enthralled the audience with the delightful cultural programme. Finally, a sumptuous dinner was served. Indeed day was memorable to all the jubilarians as we evoke our call to JMJ way of life.
